My Yoga Teaching-Style
The teachings I share are influenced by all of my experiences and yoga teacher trainings but generally, I have become versatile as a teacher and flexible to fit the needs of the students standing in front of me.
The classes vary from being challenging, all the way to deeply relaxing. The style in the more physical classes is Vinyasa Yoga; it flows, gets people into a meditative state through "one breath, one movement" and is tangible even for inexperienced participants. I offer variations for asana forms to cater to different levels of yoga experience and potential existing injuries.

My slower Yin classes are designed to have students go into the depth and true essence of themselves. The body is miraculous and with the right tools, can also heal itself. If you are looking shake things up at your studio, I could also guide free movement practice called Shake the Dust originally founded in Portugal to help guests re-connect to their bodies. They might be surprised how much the body craves that freedom and just wants to move.
I facilitate all experiences with my own authentic voice, focus on healthy alignment unique to the individual (as our bodies, patterns, and stories are all so different) and emphasise "being" instead of "doing". All the answers are here. Movement is our first language and also our medicine. My knowledge of embodiment, the effects of stress on the body and posture, somatics and the importance of the breath are examples of teachings incorporated into my classes.
